Services | Examination services available at Los Altos Optometric Group include comprehensive eye examinations and vision analysis - testing for vision, eye coordination and pathological conditions. We prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, and are co-managing doctors for LASIK and all forms of refractive surgery. We diagnose and treat many forms of eye infections and inflammation and when we find conditions that require a specialist (cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration; even high blood pressure and diabetes, to name a few) we will make the appropriate referral. In short, we are a primary-care optometric practice.

Facilities and Equipment | Los Altos Optometric Group has a large selection of current, stylish eyewear, progressive and other advanced-design eyeglass lenses. We provide the newest in contact lens technology including Acuvue Advance®, O2-Optix and Focus Night & Day.
We now offer the Optomap® Retinal Exam, which is unique in that it gives a much larger view (200 degrees) of the back of the eye - your retina - than conventional eye exam equipment. The images can be taken without dilating your pupils - a very common procedure which is uncomfortable and inconvenient for many people; however the decision to dilate or not is a medical decision to be made by your doctor. The Optomap image is captured in less than one second and is displayed immediately after being taken, allowing you and your doctor to review it and if necessary, a referral to a specialist can be made.
