2 Number of users is based on the number of practice users (doctors, staff, and patients) simultaneously using Eyefinity cloud products (Eyefinity Practice Management, AcuityLogic, and Eyefinity EHR, including the patient kiosk) at the practice location.
To verify your practice’s bandwidth, go to Speakeasy Speed Test and select the city closest to you. If your bandwidth does not meet the minimum requirements for your practice type, contact your Internet service provider.
Wireless Router Requirements
You will need a router to connect your iPad to the Internet wirelessly. Select a business-grade router and enable wireless security and encryption for HIPAA compliance. For the best experience, meet or exceed the optimum recommendation.
In addition, we recommend having a 4G LTE cellular hotspot available as a secondary Internet connection. While the cellular hotspot is useful in emergencies, you will notice dramatically slower performance, and it is not intended for daily use.
Document Printer Requirements
A business-grade PCL5e-compatible laser printer is required to print CMS 1500 forms.
