Brian’s career started in retail management with Safeway where he rose through the management ranks and developed his operational, consumer, and fiscal acumen. He ran three of the largest and highest volume stores in the company with over $50 million in annual sales and an average of 20,000 customers a week with 200+ employees. With almost 20 years of retail experience, Brian then pursued his entrepreneurial passion and opened his own restaurant, Juicy Dog, where he created a new quick service format, brand positioning, environmental design, and customer experience, all based on consumer insights and data. Brian then opened his own financial services agency where he built a sales process resulting in top sales numbers for the territory with one of the lowest cancellation rates of active agents. His retail experience, customer centricity, and passion for creating successful processes and programs, led him to the dynamic and innovative VSP Vision^TM team.
