No stranger to technology, David Walker found interest in computer science at a very early age as a student participant in the ‘Gifted and Talented,’ program. This became his launchpad for a 28+ year career in various technology organizations. Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, David graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.  

His role as Eyefinity’s Senior Business Advisor/Product Owner is two-fold: not only is David the strategy advisor behind the price transparency functionality in our newest platform, but he also collaborates with our Ventures practices, helping them onboard onto our product.  

“The price transparency capability is game changing. I’ve been working with a lot of clients for a while who had a laundry list of things they wanted. With the price transparency design, I was able to bring in all of those years of wish lists—so much of that functionality will be built into this new product.” 

As an advisor, David enjoys diving deep into technology. One project that stands out is the work he has done on the VisionWorks Transformation Project—finding new and interesting ways to create better solutions for our customers. 

“I get into the guts of how our application works and collaborate closely with our developers to come up with new key parts for our platform.”

Always down to get down, David loves to go out country line dancing with his wife. He appreciates live music, spending time with his two grown kids out of Dallas and growing pumpkins in the springtime.
