Jennie Tupper

Eyefinity

Senior Manager, Customer Onboarding and Enablement

Jennie Tupper has been with Eyefinity® since 2017 and has worn a few different hats in that time. Connected to eye care since age four, she accompanied her mother, an optician, to the clinic on the weekends. She eventually became an optician herself and still draws inspiration from these experiences in her current role as the manager of Customer Onboarding and Enablement at Eyefinity.

Before switching to her current role, Jennie worked with one of Eyefinity's largest enterprise clients to onboard them to Eyefinity Encompass™.

"This gave me direct access to the customer’s team, and a real understanding of what their thought processes were behind the platform and working with our product team," she says. "Then we could start focusing on bringing all of this goodness that we created out to the rest of our customers."

While her daily work continues to focus on eye care retailers, she hasn’t forgotten her roots: private practice eye care, like the clinic her mother worked at in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jennie is excited that independent practices will soon have access to the same tools that larger enterprise clients do, like guided shopping features and the ability to enhance the patient experience with a more robust, tablet-friendly process.

"When I think back to when I first started out as an optician, we had one computer in the office," she says. "Most of my orders to the lab were handwritten and faxed over. Now we're watching people create orders on a tablet standing in the middle of the store. How far we've come with this ability to really interact with the patient at a more personal level is just amazing. I can't wait to see what happens next as we start to roll Encompass out to our small-to-medium-business customers."
